We don’t do a lot of Engineered Floors, as solid 3/4 inch sand and finish floors over wood sub-floors are much more popular in this area. Engineered floors are most commonly used over concrete slab construction, where they must be glued down. They come in both pre-finished and unfinished varieties, and the unfinished usually have square edges, and look very much like regular 3/4 solid floors when finished. Of course glue down floors do not feel the same under foot as nail down wood floors over a wood sub-floor surface.
